Ceramic Exhibition & Tea Ceremony

Commissioned by Asahiyaki 朝日焼, Uji

Lee has been learning ceramics under the teaching of Asahiyaki 朝日焼, a ceramic family renowned for making Japanese tea wares for traditional tea ceremonies. He had been also developing his own ceramic arts with the support of Asahiyaki studio.

Inspired by the famous Hokusai Manga, Lee made a series art translating the stroke of his ink paintings with ceramic sculpting techniques.
