Harry Lee 李雲烽


HARVARD UNIVERSITY Master of Landscape Architecture

THE UNIVERSITY OF HONG KONG Bachelor of Arts in Landscape Studies

Educated in Harvard University in Landscape Architecture, Lee combines the practice of landscape architecture with theater and immersive design. Under renowned landscape architect Martha Schwartz, Lee developed his thesis for designing Immersive Landscapes by analyzing traditional Japanese tea ceremony garden ‘Roji’. Lee’s immersive design and art installations are featured internationally, including large scale art events such as Burning Man, Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival and the celebration of Bauhaus 100th Anniversary.

Currently Lee is making ceramics under the guidance of Asahiyaki 16th generation Master, 朝日焼十六世窯元 Hosai Matsubayashi. He is now practicing Japanese Tea Ceremony under guidance of tea master Bruce Hamana Sosei of Urasenke. Lee is also the founder of Tea J Club in Kyoto and the Harvard Club Tea Society in New York city.
